DEAMERICA is a set of spoken images summarizing the ten words with which several Americans defined America. DEAMERICA is a vocal improvisation accompanied by guitar, in which the geography of that continent is explored through the evocation of the sensations and spaces with which it is built.
This CD is a search in the musical representation of a territory, an approach to the definition of a common space shared by people from many countries in America who reside as emigrants in Europe. The voice and music lend themselves here as the guiding thread of lived memory, suppressing political limits, to approach definitions in which the word condenses a wide range of nuances.
