Luís Barragán in his house in Tacubaya

On February 9, 2012 we presented the book “Luis Barragán in his house in Tacubaya. “Natures of the limit” which opens an editorial line on architecture criticism that we have wanted to start for a long time. It is always difficult to give an opinion on the works of other authors, and even more so to try to provide tools that allow us to get closer to their thinking, and their way of working. The author, architect Cruz López Viso, achieves this with this book that overcomes the colorful vision with which the work of the Mexican architect has been disguised. Luis Barragan, to approach the space of its architecture from multiple aspects using the perception and experience of the place.

We have to thank Cruz for his research and his text, and Pepa Diaz Calvo the photographs that so well illustrate the space of the house and its extension towards the interior garden.
